Lora "Sissy"'s Story
Family is so very important to me. My 2 beautiful daughters, and their good looking husbands are the strong branches of our family tree. The Soon to be 5 year old twins have always been my pride in joy until my new grand children came along. I now have one grandson and 3 granddaughters.
I am so blessed. Edwin and I will be married 34 Years this year (2008) and we married when I was 17 (in 1974).
My mom passed away 3 years ago, and dad is now 88 years old and had been in great health until this year and now wears oxygen.
*My only brother Neil lives in St Louis and I just don't see him enough. I miss him so. He is still just as funny as he was when we were kids.
*I am so proud of my family, my youngest daughter Pam works for law enforcement and she types all the statements for them. She has been there for years, and now is an Army wife, and now finds her self a stepmom of a boy and girl.
*Her husband, Billy, has been deployed to several times and twice to Iraq where he is right now until Christmas time. He talks so loving to Pam and I must say, she really picked a gentlemen this time. They married the day before he left and will have a military wedding when the anniversary comes up. She has really planned hard for this. Her sister wants to take the pictures.
*Speaking of Grace, She is a full time homemaker and mother...Expand for more
of twin girls. she is always teaching them, helping them, being activities director, with them. They are starting their third year of school this year, Grace teaching them at home too she is non stop with them all day. When she is not with the girls she is exercising, getting groceries, doing all the shopping for them and running all errands.
*I don¿t think she falls asleep at night I think she passes out. and then there is the grandfathers, she cleans the houses once a weeks and changes sheets for both my dad and Edwin¿s dad, because they are no longer able to. She helps me as much too. God has blessed her with the energy and patients to do all things. Her husband is good as gold too.
*They have been married for 9 years, Mike is a great dad, he plays with them the minute he gets home even after a long and stressful day. In the middle of his day he takes the time to talk to him girls, NOT CARING WHO IS AROUND, and talking that baby talk just for his girls. The girls call him Big Daddy, he helps Edwin and I with our home chores as well as his own. He is the sales manager for a car dealership and he is a reserve officer for the sheriffs office. He is one of the brightest, loving, and patient people I have ever met. I am so glad that he loves my Grace.
As for me, I love life and so very greatful and blessed for it.
